Slow and Easy Doves
8 To 10 doves
Salt and pepper
4 tb Cooking oil
1 c Of flour
Put flour in brown paper bag. Shake doves two at a time in bag to coat with flour. Sear birds quickly in large skillet until brown on all sides. Put enough water in skillet to half cover birds. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours or until doves are tender. Thicken gravy with flour from paper bag.
