Baked Doves in Sherry

12 Doves
Flour
Salt and pepper
Oil
2 Bunches shallots
12 sl Slices bacon
1 c Sherry
2 cn (4-oz) sliced mushrooms


Salt and pepper doves; dredge with flour and brown in small amount of oil. Place 3-4 shallots in chest cavity; wrap doves with bacon and secure with toothpicks. Place in pan; add sherry and mushrooms. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Serve sauce in pan with doves. Men like this one!
