Stir Fried Dove

12 Dove breasts
1 tablespoon Butter
Garlic salt -- to taste
Freshly-ground black pepper -- to taste
1 cup Dry sherry
Mushrooms -- sliced

Add butter to a hot skillet. Stir-fry the breasts for a few minutes until you don't see blood oozing from the meat. Season with garlic salt and freshly-ground black pepper. Add your favorite sliced mushrooms. Stir-fry a couple minutes or longer. Add dry sherry. I experimented with a dozen dove breasts. More than that might require little more sherry. Reduce the heat slightly. Let that simmer until the sherry begins to evaporate rapidly. Then it's ready.

This recipe yields 2 servings.
